Crochet Capsule

I was invited to create crochet works for a themed exhibition curated by Emma Bartik of Voluptuary World.

The theme was ‘The Garden’, think otherworldly fairy garden for adults. Responding to this brief, I instinctually wanted to move away from the ‘everyday’ crochet bag and transform the medium into functional, sculptural art.

The majority of the bags are made with reclaimed fabric yarn and up-cycled materials which forms and important part of my practice.

The Collection Experience:

Every piece in this capsule is finished with hand sewn, custom satin branding and includes a dedicated care guide alongside a handmade swing tag. To ensure absolute utility without compromising the sculptural structure, each piece arrives in a custom printed cotton dust bag, with select silhouettes accompanied by an internal velvet pouch.
